If you are under the impression that students are entitled to use whatever software they have just because they paid for it you are simply incorrect. If you want to take that to a logical conclusion, the student should consider the school's restriction of usage of the resource as part of the system requirements of the software- as in 'System requirements: Mac OSX 10.4 or later and unrestricted internet usage.' When you are out paying for the internet access yourself, do what you will as it will be your choice. Just please don't try to play the 'entitled' card when you are using someone else's service.
