I'm attaching a tarball of samples, but please let me know if you need any further information or if you'd like me to try changing anything. I had wondered whether Sophos (7.10) was responsible, as when I turned off its on-access scanning last week (after taking the first samples) the problem appeared to stop for a while. However, it's now re-appeared - and I've tried adding all '*iTerm*'-named files under my ~/Library directory as exceptions, and then completely disabling Sophos's On Access Scan, but the problem persists. Many thanks for iTerm (which I use all day long) and for looking into this. (BTW, I had searched for similar tickets but can't find any which related to 0.10).
